Kahn is leading the restoration of the lagoon, swimming pool, and surrounding landscape. Originally designed by Jens Jensen, the grounds of the estate were crafted to meld perfectly with the Albert Kahn-designed mansion.
Over the years, renovations to the pool and lagoon area distorted Jensen's original vision and invasive species took hold of the landscape. Now, Kahn and a team of experts are bringing the site back to its original design - of course, with all of the necessary modernizations to increase its longevity.
